About the team 

At Liedekerke, our Competition/European Law & Foreign Investment team provides strategic legal advice and representation to a diverse range of clients. We handle cases in competition law (restrictive practices, merger control, state aid), foreign direct investment, and broader European legal matters. Joining our team means working in a collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment where professional growth is a priority. 

Your profile 

We are looking for a lawyer who is: 

  • A recent graduate or junior lawyer with up to 2 years of experience in Competition law or related fields.
  • Eager to learn, with a strong interest in EU and Belgian Competition law, Foreign Direct Investment, and European law.
  • Fluent in Dutch, with strong written and verbal skills. Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to grasp complex legal concepts.
  • Motivated and proactive, willing to take on responsibilities and contribute to the team.
  • A team player, who enjoys working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
