Responsible, under direct supervision of the Head of Legal, for negotiating, writing, reviewing, summarizing, researching and executing a wide variety of agreements for the company, including service agreements, asset management contracts, real estate leases, confidentiality agreements, and other general business contracts both domestically and internationally.

Some of the things you will be doing:

  • Draft/ assist in reviewing of the legal documentation;
  • Assistance on developments of a legal database for Luxembourg templates;
  • Provision of legal assistance in the context of global projects involving the Intertrust Group;
  • Dealing with various Luxembourg legal and regulatory matters on an independent basis;
  • Legal and regulatory monitoring of EU and LUX legislation;
  • Handle the review and support of the different business teams on an independent and proactive basis;
  • Assistance regarding any legal updates for the operational teams;
  • Standardize, align and integrate document and contract production processes and systems;
  • Integrate ethics, compliance and preventive law efforts, including AML legislation (in close cooperation with the Compliance Department);
  • Contribute to the legal implementation of new services, ideas or business;
  • Serve as internal early warning system in identifying potential risks to the company.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need? 

  • Bachelor degree in business, corporate law or other relevant field;
  • 5+ years post qualification experience with strong knowledge of Luxembourg law and EU law acquired either in a law firm, in an international group or a management company; 
  • Strong knowledge in the regulatory framework in connection with securities services and asset management field; 
  • Experienced, proactive and confident practitioner.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken. Any additional language is an advantage;
  • Accurate, flexible, hands-on and deliver their best work when facing a tight deadline;
  • Strong communication skills and work well in a diverse team;
  • Open-minded, common sense and can-do attitude;
  • Willing to succeed, grow, be challenged, challenge others and show commitment and ownership.
