The purpose of the role is to ensure that the Luxembourg-based Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM) of the Group and the funds are fully compliant with all the relevant rules and regulations. The role will also operate as Conducing Officer for Compliance, AML/CFT & Compliant. This individual will be a subject matter expert for European AML requirements, and in conjunction with other European compliance and AML resources, help shape and drive Carlyle’s overall compliance programme in Europe. Operationally, the role will report into the Head of Operations within Fund Management with ongoing oversight by and coordination with the Head of European Compliance based in London, the Global Chief of Compliance and the Global Compliance Team.
