The EIB, the European Union's bank, is seeking to recruit for its Legal Directorate (JU) - Legal Corporate Department (CORP) - Procurement and Administrative Law Division (PA) at its headquarters in Luxembourg, a (Senior) Lawyer qualified in Luxembourgish law*
This is a full time position at grade 5/6 for which the EIB offers a permanent contract.
The purpose of the role is to provide legal support to the administration and other directorates for legal issues within the remit of the Division with a particular emphasis on Luxembourg law governed corporate topics (contract law, construction and real estate, intellectual property, litigation, etc.). The work involves activities of various complexity and non-standard nature (taking instructions from the Head of Division on highly sophisticated and complex legal matters).
You will report to the Head of Division and cooperate with the other lawyers of the team. You will liaise with other colleagues from the Legal Directorate, including Directors and General Director, as well as other Directorates. The role may involve liaison with external legal counsel and local authorities.
