- Triflusulfuron: Restrictions on the use triflusulfuron were lifted following the submission of further data. The Commission also removed a limit on the maximum content of an impurity. These measures became effective as of 20 April 2012.
- Metam: The new listing becomes effective from 1 July 2012. The Commission requires to submit confirmatory data by 31 May 2014. Authorisations are limited to professional users. Member states have until 31 December 2014 to check that current products comply with the approved use conditions. Member states have until 30 June 2016 to re-register existing products.
- Blood meal, calcium carbide, calcium carbonate, limestone, pepper and quartz sand: Further confirmatory data are requested for blood meal, calcium carbonate and pepper by 1 March 2013; smaller technical adaptations were claimed for the remaining substances, and in particular the name ‘pepper’ was replaced by ‘pepper dust extraction residue‘. The amendments apply from 1 September 2012.
