To strengthen its legal department, Our Client is currently looking for Senior Legal Counsel M&A. 

Description of the vacancy

Our Client is seeking a dynamic and pragmatic team player to lead the M&A legal team, which is part of the Group Legal team. The M&A legal team collaborates on a daily basis with the Group’s business M&A team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead legal support for M&A and capital markets projects.
  • Manage and oversee all stages of international M&A transactions, including joint ventures and restructurings.
  • Provide legal support for financial/treasury matters like capital increases, debt issuance, and intra-group loans.
  • Manage Legal Counsel M&A colleagues and external legal support.
  • Brief the Executive Committee on significant legal topics.
  • Assess legal and compliance risks, guiding management to solutions.

Profile

  • Master of Laws degree with strong academic performance.
  • At least 8 years of transactional experience in a top-tier law firm or similar in-house role.
  • Keen interest and experience in M&A.
  • Strong analytical and business-oriented legal skills.
  • Open-minded team-player.
  • Dynamic, proactive, and solution-focused.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel if necessary.
