Our internal Legal Department is instrumental in guiding the executive management and various business units through the complexities of commercial, corporate, and civil law. We also provide expert advice on regulatory matters, oversee litigation, coordinate with external counsel, and manage specialized legal projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of our compact legal team, you will report directly to the General Counsel. Your core responsibilities include:

  • drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a diverse array of agreements, such as client and supplier contracts, NDAs, consortium agreements, IT agreements, and real estate agreements
  • supporting M&A projects
  • supporting the corporate housekeeping processes
  • offering legal assistance to EY's internal functions, including Finance, HR, IT, Business Development, Marketing and Communications, Facilities, and Risk Management, on both national and international levels.

We expect you to integrate swiftly into our team, establish a robust internal network, and collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments and countries. 

Your Profile

You have/are: 

  • a Master’s degree in law 
  • 3-5 years of experience either in a law firm's corporate/commercial department or as in-house counsel
  • experience with IT contract negotiation (is a plus)
  • fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
  • a true team player with a strong desire to learn and cooperate with your colleagues
  • a genuine interest in the business implications of legal issues and strive to balance legal considerations with business needs.
