ALTIUS is een onafhankelijke Belgische advocatenkantoor gevestigd in Brussel (Tour & Taxis), met 70 advocaten en 25 medewerkers. Als een full-service advocatenkantoor adviseert ALTIUS Belgische en internationale bedrijven over de juridische aspecten van hun zakelijke activiteiten, transacties en geschillen. Om zijn team te versterken, is het kantoor op zoek naar een Associate met 3 tot 8 jaar ervaring om het Corporate en M&A Team te versterken.

ALTIUS is looking for an Associate (2-5 years) to join and strengthen our Commercial Law team.

The Commercial Team

The ALTIUS commercial law team focuses on every single line of your contracts to help make your business a success. From large projects to one-off deals, our experts give practical and strategic advice when it comes to contract negotiations or more challenging commercial situations requiring settling legal disputes.

Key requirements

You are a Belgian qualified lawyer with 2 to 5 years of experience in commercial law, ideally in a similar practice.
You combine your experience in Commercial Law with an experience or a profound interest in ICT Law or data protection (GDPR).
If you have worked or studied abroad we consider this to be an asset.
You are fluent in Dutch. Your level of English and French is suitable for daily use in a business environment. Any knowledge of an additional language is considered a plus.
You possess excellent writing skills and you prefer a pragmatic and hands-on approach.
You are an open and enthusiastic team player, highly motivated and internationally oriented.
You are not afraid to speak your mind, have shown your entrepreneurial spirit in the past (ex: involvement in a student club, sport club, etc.), and don’t always choose the more conventional path.
