ALTIUS is een onafhankelijke Belgische advocatenkantoor gevestigd in Brussel (Tour & Taxis), met 70 advocaten en 25 medewerkers. Als een full-service advocatenkantoor adviseert ALTIUS Belgische en internationale bedrijven over de juridische aspecten van hun zakelijke activiteiten, transacties en geschillen. Om zijn team te versterken, is het kantoor op zoek naar een Associate met 3 tot 8 jaar ervaring om het Corporate en M&A Team te versterken.

To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for an associate with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our Corporate and M&A Team.

The Corporate and M&A Team

Our corporate and M&A team provides services to a range of national and international corporate, financial institution, and private clients across a broad spectrum of corporate matters.

In addition to our (domestic and cross-border) M&A capability, our expertise encompasses corporate restructurings as well as corporate litigation. We are highly active in private equity deals. Relying on the firm’s strong banking team, we are also well-positioned to assist in the structuring and documentation of the financing of acquisitions or projects.

Key requirements

You are a Belgian qualified lawyer and you have 3 to 6 years of experience in corporate and especially in M&A law, ideally in a similar practice. You combine a profound interest in corporate and M&A law with commercial awareness;
If you have worked or studied abroad we consider this to be an asset;
You are fluent in French. Your level of English and Dutch is suitable for daily use in a business environment. Any knowledge of an additional language is considered a plus.
You possess excellent writing skills and you prefer a pragmatic and hands-on approach.
You are an open and enthusiastic team player, highly motivated and internationally oriented.
You are not afraid to speak your mind, have shown your entrepreneurial spirit in the past (ex: involvement in a student club, sport club, etc.), and don’t always choose the more conventional path.
