Associate Banking & Finance

For our client, a leading independent Belgian law firm, we are looking for an associate with an experience in banking & finance to join its Corporate and Finance department. French or Dutch native with an excellent command of English and a knowledge of Dutch and/or French.

As lawyer in the transactional Banking & Finance team, you will be involved in a broad range of Banking & Finance transactions matters for a varied client base. Your tasks will include: 
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating deal documentation 
- Engaging with our clients and their counterparts
- Managing matters from inception to closing

- You have a Master's degree in law, a LL.M. in Banking & Finance law is a plus
- You have 3 to 6 years' experience in Banking & Finance with a leading Belgian or international law firm
- You have excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- You are proactive, hands-on and ready to take the initiative
- You are customer-focused, business-minded and pragmatic
- You are a team player who works independently
- You are French/Dutch-speaking with full professional competence in English and a good passive understanding of Dutch/French
