Legal Counsel

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge battery projects that contribute to grid stability and energy flexibility. You will handle a variety of legal responsibilities, from negotiating contracts to supporting permitting and compliance processes.

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including EPC agreements, supply contracts, and land reservation agreements.
• Provide legal support for permitting processes and manage due diligence for large-scale energy projects.
• Establish legal structures for project financing, including the creation of special-purpose vehicles and compliance oversight.
• Manage smaller operational contracts and provide ad-hoc legal advice across the business.
• Collaborate with technical and financial teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• General legal follow-up for all entities. 

• Experience: 4-8 years of expertise in commercial law and/or litigation, ideally gained in a law firm or corporate setting. Experience with EPC contracts, supply chain agreements, or the energy/construction sector is a strong advantage.
• Languages: Fluency in both Dutch and French, with excellent drafting skills in English.
• Mindset: Hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-oriented. You thrive in a fast-paced, lean, and collaborative environment where no task is too big or too small.
• Affinity with energy or infrastructure projects, or working within a regulatory framework, is highly valued.
