The position

Strelia’ s Brussels office is seeking a (senior) associate to join its Restructuring and Insolvency team. You will join a dynamic and well-integrated team of passionate corporate dispute resolution lawyers with unique expertise in advising clients and regularly accepting appointments as office holders, administrators or liquidators of companies in distress. You will also handle cross-border proceedings and disputes.

In our work, we strive for the highest professional standards and, at the same time, for a work environment where all team members work with a smile on their face.

Your Profile

  • You hold a Belgian master’s in law (with excellent university grades). An LL.M. from an English or American university is a plus.
  •  You have experience (4-6 years) as a dispute resolution lawyer in a reputable business law firm.
  • You have an in-depth knowledge of insolvency law or at least a firm willingness to specialize in it. You will work principally in restructuring and insolvency law matters.
  • Native Dutch-speaker, with an excellent command of English and a good knowledge of French.
  •  You are a team player and have the necessary drive and talent to work in a professional environment where the group atmosphere is key.
  • You are committed to serve clients at the highest level.

What we offer

  • We offer a stimulating environment and the opportunity to be a part of a young and dynamic team.
  • You will work in direct collaboration with all the team members.
  • We offer a competitive remuneration package.
  • We invest in our associates’ development and are committed to promote diversity and well-being at work as core values of our firm.
