What your future may hold


As a Contract & Ethics Officer with IMDC, you will be involved on ad hoc questions from the IMDC-team on contract law and will roll out the compliance program of the Tractebel group within IMDC, with a focus on ethics and data privacy. You will:
•    Support project teams and company leadership by managing contract screenings and negotiations, compliance, and ethics initiatives.
•    Prepare and oversee contract documentation, ensuring all terms are fully compliant with IMDC and Tractebel policies.
•    Serve as the main point of contact for contract inquiries, guiding project managers and sales teams on contractual obligations and compliance.
•    Drive ethics and compliance programs, conducting ethics checks, managing risk assessments, and implementing training initiatives.
•    Maintain data privacy policies under GDPR, developing local procedures in collaboration with Tractebel.
•    Collaborate closely with Tractebel’s legal and compliance experts, proactively implementing audit action plans and contributing to IMDC’s risk mitigation strategies.

You will be in close contact with the legal team and with the ethics & compliance team of Tractebel and you will report to the CEO of IMDC. 


Your Skillset


•    You hold a Law Degree;
•    You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a paralegal or legal counsel role;
•    You have an excellent level of English and Dutch. Knowledge of French is considered a plus;
•    You bring a hands-on approach and a proactive & entrepreneurial spirit to your work;
•    You have excellent communication skills and are able to engage effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across all levels;
•    You approach challenges with a pragmatic mindset, always ready to lend a hand and support team goals;
•    You have strong organizational skills and can manage ad hoc responsibilities while prioritizing key tasks;
•    Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all matters.
