TINC Development Partners (“TDP”) was established in 2007 as a developer, investor and manager of infrastructure assets and selective real estate. TDP has a team of experienced specialists with a financial, engineering and legal background and has offices in Antwerp and The Hague.

TDP’s investment activity is inspired by a number of significant societal trends. This includes the ambition to realise new and improved public infrastructure, the transition to a low-carbon society, the ongoing digitisation of society, and the growing focus on care and wellbeing. For TDP, these developments provide the framework for impactful investments in four focus areas: public infrastructure, energy infrastructure, digital infrastructure, and selective real estate. TDP acts as an investment services provider for a.o. TINC, an infrastructure investor listed on Euronext Brussels. TDP is dedicated to integrating sustainabilityinto our investment strategy to drive long-term sustainable value for our clients and stakeholders.


Description of the vacancy

The Sustainability Officer will play a critical role in shaping and implementing the sustainability strategy of TDP across its investment activities. The Sustainability Officerwill work closely together with portfolio managers, legal counsel, and senior leadership to ensure that sustainability considerations are fully integrated into our investment processes, risk management frameworks, and regulatory compliance efforts.

In this role you will mainly:

  • Monitor and interpret sustainability related regulations and standards, providing guidance to ensure TDP practices remain compliant. 
  • Liaise with the legal team to perform risk assessments and to translate this into sustainability policies and lead the development and continuous refinement of these policies in alignment with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and investor expectations.
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of sustainability data across TDP’s investment activities
  • Collaborate with investment teams to integrate sustainability into the investment decision-making process (incl. due diligence) and portfolio management.
  • Engage with investors and other stakeholders to communicate TDP’s sustainability strategy and performance and generally represent TDP in industry forums, working groups, etc.
  • Provide training and ongoing education to investment professionals and other staff on sustainability principles, trends, and best practices.
  • As a member of the legal team, participate in its functioning and support it in its operations and activities 

Profile

  • You have a master’s degree in law or other (eg economics, political sciences etc).
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience (e.g. in a consultancy firm, (investment) company, law firm, etc.) 
  • You are solution-oriented, pro-active and pay attention to details.
  • You have the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time without losing oversight.
  • You have good diplomatic and social skills and enjoy building relationships with stakeholders.
  • You are a team player and possess a high level of integrity.
  • You have an analytical mindset.
  • You have good social skills and can work efficiently in a team.
  • You are Dutch and capable of working and drafting in English and French.
