Description

The Amazon Ads’ Legal team is looking for a talented Corporate Counsel to be an integral part of the EU legal team, supporting Sales and Marketing teams as well as consumer regulatory work, ad policy, engagement of influencers and ad agencies, and other related areas. Amazon Ads is at the forefront of the ad technology and advertising services industries providing innovative ad formats and campaigns. This includes online and real-world ads, live and streaming TV ads, ad targeting, creative production, ad measurement services and more.

Key job responsibilities


The Corporate Counsel for Amazon Ads will be responsible for drafting and negotiating commercial agreements; working with business teams and counsels to provide day-to-day advice; and working on complex regulatory matters. Be able to work independently and have excellent communication skills as this position involves direct contact with principal business owners. The candidate must:

  • Have experience inventing processes and developing ways to track and simplify transactions and projects full-cycle.
  • Have experience regulatory work and the ability to organize and prioritize diverse tasks.
  • Demonstrate a desire to learn as well as sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.

Basic qualifications

  • Outstanding academic qualifications.
  • Significant experience with a minimum of 5+ years post-qualification legal experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to act as a business partner to senior management.
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent English, both spoken and written.

Preferred qualifications

  • Team player who can effectively and efficiently collaborate and build relationships with attorneys and business clients at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Good degree of independence, initiative and decisiveness but also desire to be challenged and think outside the box.
  • Common sense, great judgment, and a good sense of humor.
