WIj zijn een toonaangevend, onafhankelijk belgisch advocatenkantoor gespecialiseerd in ondernemingsrecht, gevestigd aan de Louizalaan in 1050 Brussel, met een team van ongeveer 70 mensen.


Simont Braun is looking for a dynamic tax lawyer (1-4 yrs) to join its tax team.

Our tax department offers an excellent opportunity to develop your tax skills and entrepreneurial spirit in a diversified practice. With a focus on corporate tax in the broad sense, the team handles both advisory work and litigation in a wide range of sectors.

You will be part of a dynamic team within a leading Belgian law firm, where you will closely cooperate with other departments on multidisciplinary projects such as corporate, real estate, financial services & regulatory, etc.

Your profile

  • You have 1-4 years of experience in tax law within a Belgian or international law firm or consultancy firm.
  • You have a strong interest in corporate tax and related areas. Experience in M&A and/or private equity is a plus.
  • You obtained your Belgian law degree with solid results. An additional degree in tax law is a plus.
  • You are a quick learner who is not afraid to delve into new topics or unexplored terrain.
  • You aim for excellence and work with rigour.
  • You want to understand the client’s sector, challenges and strategy to offer adequate solutions.
  • You are a Dutch or French native speaker, or equivalent, with a good command of the other language and English.
