Senior Legal Counsel

Golden Palace Group is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join its legal team. The ideal candidate is a legal generalist who can effectively manage complex legal issues and provide practical advice. You will work closely with a dynamic team of three professionals in an autonomous, fast- paced environment.

• Legal advisory: Provide expert advice on issues spanning gaming legislation, contract law, IT law, confidentiality, privacy protection, anti- money laundering legislation, corporate law, real estate law, and labor law. 
• Contract management: Draft and validate a wide range of contracts, including those with suppliers and clients, partnerships, collaborations, municipal agreements for gaming halls, confidentiality, sponsorship, and service contracts. 
• Gaming legislation: Monitor and support the evolution of gaming-related laws. 
• Regulatory relations: Manage contacts with the Gaming Commission and public authorities. 
• Administrative procedures: Oversee license applications, urban planning permits, and other administrative tasks. 
• Litigation management: Handle litigation matters and liaise with external legal counsel. 
• Corporate housekeeping: Maintain the legal compliance of the group’s legal entities. 
• Professional associations: Manage relationships with relevant industry associations. 

• You hold a law degree with at least 10 years of relevant legal experience. Bar experience or a completed internship is preferred. 
• You are fluent in French, Dutch, and English (both spoken and written). 
• You possess strong analytical and decision-making skills, especially in high-risk situations. 
• You are committed to staying current on legal trends and have a proactive, curious attitude. 
• You can work independently as well as part of a team. 
• Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills make you a natural collaborator. 

• A permanent, full-time contract (39 hours per week) with 29 days of annual leave.
