Tax lawyer

Our Tax team currently consists of 7 lawyers and 1 Personal Assistant, and we are looking to expand the team with an Associate with 2 to 5 years of experience.

As an associate in our Tax practice, you will be involved in advisory work, and you will:

• advise Belgian and international clients on tax issues
• specialise in domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures, capital markets, finance, private equity, funds, real estate, and incentive plans

But you will also be involved in:

• Assisting clients in resolving tax disputes and investigations
• Handling audits, dawn raids, and settlements
• Representing clients in administrative controversies and tax litigation before Belgian and European courts

We are looking for a bright associate who:

• is Dutch-native with a good command of English and French
• has excellent results at a Belgian university, an additional education in tax law, a study or experience in an Anglo-Saxon jurisdiction is considered a plus
• has 2 to 5 years of experience in tax law
• strong analytical, organisational, and editorial skills
• thrives under tight deadlines
• eager to learn, client-focused, and highly motivated.

Start date: as soon as possible

Location: Brussels, with the option to also work from our Antwerp office.
