You will join a dynamic and well-integrated team of passionate corporate dispute resolution lawyers with unique expertise in advising clients and regularly accepting appointments as office holders, administrators or liquidators of companies in distress. You will also handle cross-border proceedings and disputes.

Description of the vacancy

Strelia’ s Brussels office is seeking a (senior) associate to join its Restructuring and Insolvency team. You will join a dynamic and well-integrated team of passionate corporate dispute resolution lawyers with unique expertise in advising clients and regularly accepting appointments as office holders, administrators or liquidators of companies in distress. You will also handle cross-border proceedings and disputes.

Profile

  • You hold a Belgian master’s in law with good study results. An LL.M. from an English or American university is a plus.
  • You have experience (3-7 years) as a dispute resolution lawyer in a reputable business law firm.
  • You have an in-depth knowledge of insolvency law or at least a firm willingness to specialize in it. You will work principally in restructuring and insolvency law matters.
  • Native Dutch-speaker, with an excellent command of English and a good knowledge of French.
  • You are a team player and have the necessary drive and talent to work in a professional environment where the group atmosphere is key.
  • You are committed to serve clients at the highest level.
