For our client, a leading real estate company, we are looking for a Corporate Housekeeping Officer. Fluent in Dutch or French, with good command of the other language.
Under the supervision of the Corporate Legal Manager, you will contribute to the daily management of the legal responsibilities of the Group's entities:
- You will manage the corporate housekeeping process: supervising and carrying out all corporate housekeeping for the Group's entities, including attending board and general meetings and drafting the minutes, drafting special reports, managing powers of attorney and deadlines, and administrative follow-up; coordinating with the various departments (accounting and tax); coordinating with the auditors; coordinating with local advisers for foreign entities
- You will manage the Group's databases and various organisational charts and ensure that they are up to date
- You will be involved in setting up companies and internal reorganisations: drafting all the documents required for setting up new companies and for special operations (mergers, demergers, contributions, etc.); coordinating relations with notaries and auditors, etc.
- You will also manage administrative follow-up, including publications in the Moniteur belge, updating the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises and the UBO register, etc.
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent
- You have experience as a paralegal in corporate law or in a similar role
- You have affinity with corporate law
- You are familiar with legal and administrative procedures
- You have excellent written and oral communication skills
- You are able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- You are able to work in a structured manner, independently and as part of a team
- You are fluent in Dutch or French and have a good command of the other language, both spoken and written. Knowledge of English is a plus
